So I was sitting at work the other day. The radio station I usually listen to was having a 80s day. They played nothing but kick ass music from way back when! Some of the songs I had completely forgotten about! Some gave me flashbacks to what I was doing and where I was at in my life. Music has a funny way of doing that to people. Some just made me smile. Some where crap but I still sang along. I couldn’t help myself.

The next singer I want to tell you about is so far beyond awesome he got me to start a whole new category.  My very first Foti Favorite is Paolo Nutini.

This is what you call pure talent. The first songs I listened to was him singing Amy Winehouse and Justin Timberlake. He wasn’t bad at all. Then I heard some of his own stuff. The first song I listened to was New Shoes.  I loved the feel to it. It’s so easy to see he is someone who is singing because he likes to sing and not because of the money that can be had. Then I moved on over to him singing Last Request. Amazing. I got chills. I loved it! He is singing from his soul and rocking my world as he does it.

I’m putting up two of his videos because he is just that damn good.

You might have been one of the few ( like me ) that watched the TV show Rock Star Super Nova. There was a few singer on the show that clearly stood out to me as better then your average rock stars. It blows my mind that some of them aren’t house hold names by now. Case in point Storm Large. Storm is clearly a step beyond your run of the mill singer. Take a chance on her, you’ll be surprised.
